Job description

We are looking for a full time live-in Equine/Barn assistant to help fill in and expedite daily tasks to help save more horses

IT IS REQUIRED THAT YOU LIVE ON SITE. Apartment is on the first floor of the barn. Studio with cozy kitchen and full bathroom. All Utilities are included with the position including Wi-Fi. Pets are allowed and welcome. No smoking on property. Wages are negotiable based on whether you'd rather pay for rent or have rent included with pay.

Rate is $13.75-$17.00 hourly paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

You will be mucking stalls feeding horses and handling them. Move them from stalls to paddocks groom and bathe. Help with grain and hay deliveries, Help setting up for clinics, vets, and farriers. Will be expected to be available to receive horses that may be arriving in the middle of the night, as well as night checks.

Qualifications

Some skill handling and working with horses required. On site training will be provided but a base understanding of safety around horses is required. This is a heavy work job. Need to know how to work equipment (Tractor, Kubota, etc.)
